Welcome to Penacook Elementary School, where it is our mission to create a learning community that ensures all learners actively engage in the pursuit of academic excellence. Penacook Elementary was founded in August, 2002 and serves approximately 330 students. The faculty and staff at PES are devoted to engaging students in their learning, and strive to build a climate and culture where students feel safe and supported. Our school is home to many events and activities, which brings the the Penacook Elementary School community together. Our Parent Teacher Group (PTG), comprised of parents, teachers and faculty, go above and beyond to enrich our school program in many ways.

Our instruction is student-centered, engaging and standards-based. Merrimack Valley Schools use an inquiry-based approach. Access to technology affords our students with the ability to explore academic content to learn about the world in which we live. In addition to the core academic program, our students receive instruction in the following areas:
